I Made a Custom Nike for an NBA Player – Size 17!

When it comes to custom sneakers, few names hit like Vick Almighty. In our latest project, we took on a massive challenge — literally. A custom Nike sneaker in size 17, for NBA superstar Kevin Durant.

The Challenge: Crafting a Size 17 Custom

Customizing sneakers is an art. But when you scale that art up to a size 17, every detail becomes 10 times harder to execute. From material layout to toe box proportions, this build pushed our creativity and precision to the limit.

The Process: From Blank Canvas to Custom Fire

Vick Almighty selected a clean Air Jordan 1 base and went to work:

  • Premium Materials: Selected for hype and comfort

  • Design Details: Inspired by KD’s off-court style

  • Bold Color Blocking: Clean, layered, and made to turn heads with subtle details

Each panel was hand-painted and reshaped to match the silhouette — no shortcuts.
