Devin Booker Taps Vick Almighty and Reshoevn8r for One-of-One Nike Book 1 Cleats

Phoenix Suns star Devin Booker made a statement during his return to the Motor City —not only with the first pitch but with a gift to the Tigers' core.

During a Sunday Night Baseball matchup between the Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins, Booker hand-delivered three one-of-one Nike Book 1 cleats to Tigers players Tarik Skubal, Javier Báez, and Gleyber Torres.

The man behind the customs? None other than Vick Almighty, in collaboration with Reshoevn8r.

Booker, originally from Grand Rapids, MI, worked closely with his longtime creative director, Ben Kirschner, tapped Vick Almighty and the Reshoevn8r team to bring his moment to fruition.

Vick spent hours deconstructing and rebuilding each pair, surgically merging the Nike Book 1 upper with the performance-ready soleplate of the Nike Alpha Huarache Elite 4 Low. 

Here’s what went into each cleat:

• Tarik Skubal received a “Chapter One” Nike Book 1 cleat in a size 13/14, tailored specifically for his pitching preferences.

• Gleyber Torres laced up a Nike Book 1 “Moss Point” cleat in size 11.

• Javier Báez got a size 10.5 Nike Book 1 “Chevy” edition.

Each pair was executed with precision, intent, and performance in mind, engineered for baseball, but laced with the Nike Book 1’s story and aesthetic. The cleats were hand-delivered by Booker himself, making the Tigers trio the latest to become part of the growing Book 1 legacy.

This project also follows Vick and Reshoevn8r’s recent viral Nike ACG Book 1 custom, created for Booker and featured on YouTube and Instagram.

When it comes to merging performance, storytelling, and elite-level sneaker craftsmanship, this collab proves the blueprint.
