How to Clean Yeezys
Whether you are one of the lucky ones who was able to cop an original Yeezy or just recently landed a pair through the general releases, you are going to want to keep your sneakers in tip top shape. Luckily, we have an easy method you can do from home.
Step 1
Remove shoe laces, and insert plastic shoe tree. (We like this plastic one, which can be used in water without concern of warping or damage.)
Step 2
Dip the brush in a bowl filled with water and cleaning solution mixture (Here is a non-toxic and eco-friendly cleaner we recommend.) Start with a soft brush, perfect for Yeezy’s delicate knitted material - scrubbing in circular motions.
Step 3
On the midsole, scrub using a medium bristle brush and solution mix. For the sole, move to a stiffer brush (the boost is safe with a stiffer bristle.)
Step 4
Once you are satisfied with how the shoe looks, place the shoes into a laundry bag, soles together. Place the laundry bag into the washing machine, using cold water and a normal cycle. (We prefer this non-toxic laundry detergent.)
Step 5
Remove the shoes from washing machine promptly and set to air dry.
