How To Clean Your Nike Blazers

The Nike Blazer is one of the most underrated and versatile shoes out there.  And Nike has been pumping out color after color in order to please the masses.  If you’re reading this, you probably own at least one pair of Blazers, or know someone that does. The classic silhouette and hundreds of color options make the Blazer a go-to shoe for everyday life. 

Whether you own a high top or low top pair, all-white or colorful, your pair of Nike Blazers should always look its best. There's absolutely no reason to trash your blazers when RESHOEVN8R makes it so easy to keep them clean. 

They are easy to dress up or dress down, which makes them extremely versatile, too. But if you’re like me and you rock yours a little too much, you need an easy way to clean your Blazers when they get dirty. For whatever reason it seems that the Nike Blazer is a dirt magnet, they are always dirty no matter how careful you area. That's why understanding how to clean them with the proper shoe cleaning kit is huge. 

Today we’re going to teach you how to clean your Blazers using the Reshoevn8r Signature Kit, which just so happens to be the best sneaker cleaning kit in the world. 

This step-by-step tutorial will serve as a guide as you work on cleaning your own favorite pair of Nike Blazers.

One thing of note: some pairs of Blazers feature suede or nubuck accents. If it’s relevant to you, you should consider reading this article about using the Dry Suede Kit. Now back to our regularly scheduled cleaning…

Step 1:  Insert the adjustable shoe tree (make sure it’s sized correctly) to keep the toe box from creasing, and make it easier to clean that area. 

Step 2: Remove the laces. If your laces need some extra love, throw them in a separate bowl of water with two squirts of Reshoevn8r Solution to soak while you clean the rest of the shoe.

Step 3: Dip your Soft Bristle Brush in the water and solution mixture, and start to scrub the uppers of the shoe. We’re going for suds here, the more suds the better the solution will be at breaking down the dirt. 

Step 4: Wipe down the excess water and solution on the sneaker with our Microfiber Towel.

Step 5: Use the Medium Bristle Brush (which you can find in our 3 Brush Pack) to scrub down the midsole, as well as any remaining dirt on the upper that the Soft Bristle Brush couldn’t break down.

Step 6: Clean the outsole using the Stiff Bristle Brush. Be careful not to use this brush on the upper to prevent potential damage to the material. Step 7: Wipe down the excess water and solution on the sneaker with our Microfiber Towel.

Step 8: Use a pick or an exacto knife to remove any remaining dirt that may be stuck in the deeper grooves of the outsole.

Step 9: Grab your laces out of the bowl where they’ve been soaking and rub them together to clean. 

Step 10: After you are done cleaning the laces, squeeze out the extra water and solution.

Step 11: Put the Blazers in the included Sneaker Laundry Bag and cinch it closed.

Step 12: Stick your laces, as well as a Sneaker Laundry Detergent Pod into the small pouch, and button it shut. 

Step 13: Put them through a full cycle in the washing machine on cold.

Step 14: Pull them out of the wash and let the air dry (do NOT put them in the dryer). This will ensure that they dry evenly

Step 15: Rock your kicks!
